Nov 18, 2016 · Hi peeps, my year old PS4 (original model, 1tb updated chassis) has suddenly decided it doesn't want to connect to my network via a LAN cable. It's worked fine up till now. I have a cable from my Sky hub to one plug socket connector thing then cable from the other socket gizmo into the PS4.

Ive been trying to give my ps4 internet using my pdanet app on my phone and laptop by trying to bridge connections but I cant find a good enough tutorial out there I managed to connect a lan cable from my laptop to ps4 and obtaining the up address is successful but it fails when trying to connect to the internet I need help!!!

This will work just as well as if you were connected via the wireless network. Once you are connected, you can swap between the two devices and put your music on the PS4 and vise versa.
