Basically:-No you can't connect a phone line directly into the PS3-You have to have a modem connected by a ethernet cable(If you don't have a modem, ask your Internet Provider to get one example:AT&T) It goes like this: PhoneLine>Modem by EthernetCable>Ethernet>PS3
